How are you all doing? I hope you are able to continue doing some of the home learning and keeping those amazing brains active. I have had some messages via Purple Mash and it has been amazing to know that Jiya has been a busy bee doing some gardening. Sharlene has been making up songs, Rhys has been building amazing lego constructions and Mati has been inventing dragon games. Its great to hear that some many of you are not bored and can use the time we have to do such wonderful, creative things.
I have been busy working in school this week. It has been lovely to spend time with children I haven’t taught before and also to be with other staff members I haven’t work with. It has been great fun. Mrs Brooker has been in school a lot with her group, so it has been wonderful to see her smiley face in the morning and at the end of the day. When I have been in school, I have tried to complete a Joe Wicks workout with the children. Have any of you tried to do one the workouts? My, oh my, I found it such hard work. I think I may have to extend my daily walks around the park.
Other than failing to do a workout, I have really enjoyed reading for pleasure and getting lost in a good book. Have you been able to do some reading? I do hope so.
Well, another week is here and it is so important to keep learning and trying to improve on the learning that you already have. Remember there is Purple Mash where you can do so many activities that capture your imagination. You can keep your times table knowledge spot on using Times Tables Rock Star.
Below is the home learning for the week, the theme for this week is space. I wonder if you can find out about a British astronaut and what he did in space? I love space. It reminds of the February half term this year, I went to Wales and because I was staying in a little cabin in a tiny village, there were no lights, so I was able to see the sky bursting with stars. The sky looked magical. Well, enjoy learning about space and please keep learning and reading.
Have a super week.
Take care you lovely lot.
